♦ Our mission is to strengthen and promote Colombia’s rich cultural heritage and the artistic techniques of Colombia’s ethnic groups and talented artisans, always respecting their traditions, values, and beliefs. And keeping their heritage alive by transferring the traditional artisanal methods to future generations.
♦Our immediate strategy is to increase the participation of women artisans by implementing a comprehensive, sustained development that improves their standard of living. Enabling them to have access to opportunities for economic development, education, social participation. And perfecting their artisanal techniques, increasing their productivity and efficiency, and ultimately their income.
♦ Our continual strategy is to assist indigenous communities that live through extreme poverty, illiteracy, and food deficiencies.
To lift the Wayuu community in La Guajira, Colombia, out of poverty through donations, sales of our products, food / education programmes, and economic empowerment. To enable the women artisans and their families to become self-sufficient and take ownership of their own social and economic development. To ensure that every cent raised allows them to enhance their quality of life and increase social participation and integration within their communities and society.
When you purchase our products, you are directly helping the Wayuu Community in La Guajira, Colombia who live in extreme poverty, and endure illiteracy and food deficiencies.
We work closely with each community to create jobs for woman, promoting social integration and sustainable economic development.
