This beautiful and artistic basket is entirely handmade by our artisans in the northern coast of Colombia, utilizing a locally sourced mawisa straw palm, woven by hand using an ancestral artisanal technique, symbols and patterns that represent the spiritual wisdom and cultural heritage of the Wayuu Community in La Guajira.
